The curriculum consists of nine rotations each year, each rotation lasting 5.8 weeks. Included in the year are three weeks of vacation. Each year's rotations are as follows:

Starting with PGY-2, each resident spends one half day in Continuity Clinic, a resident-run clinic overseen by the faculty. Each resident has his/her own patients, as well as 'practice groups' to simulate a physician's practice.

Ryan Residency Training Program 
The program trains residents to appreciate the integral role of fertility control in women’s lives and prepares residents to provide expert con­sultation to other medical specialties regarding family planning and reproductive health issues of women with complicated medical histories.
