Thank you for your interest in the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at WashU Medicine. We accept nine new residents per year, with 36 residents total in our program.

Applications are accepted only through ACOG’s specialty-specific residency application, ResidencyCAS (Program Name is listed as “WashU/B-JH/SLCH Consortium Program). For more information on the new platform please visit ACOG’s website. APGO’s Right Resident, Right Program, Ready Day One (RRR) website has additional resources and webinars with information on the transition to ResidencyCAS.

Applications are currently open. Please include the following documents within your application:

  • Three to four letters of recommendation, one of which is the SLOE
  • Medical school transcripts
  • USMLE and/or COMLEX Exam scores

Eligibility Update: Due to the September 19 Presidential Proclamation, we are no longer able to support applicants who require an H-1B visa.  Our program continues to support applicants on J1 visas.

Our Match Commitment

  • We will participate in signaling this year. It is optional for applicants. 
  • We perform a holistic review of all of our applications. 
  • We have 9 categorical positions in which we will interview 100 applicants. 
  • All interviews will be virtual. 
  • Our invitations will be released on October 24, 2024. 
  • We will NOT invite more candidates to interview than we have interview spots available. 
  • We will certify our rank list (03/05/25).
